At Ohio Rug Cleaning & Repair Plus, we clean every rug individually so that dirt and stains (like pet urine) cannot transfer between different clients’ rugs. Our process is simple, but effective. We start by vacuuming excess debris from the surface, and follow up with dusting to work out excess dirt from the foundation. We then wash the rug. This process can vary depending on the needs of each piece.

We can handle most repairs, from minor overcasting damage to reweaving large areas of your rug.

We apply a product that is intended to give you more time between cleanings and make it easier for you to take care of stains effectively as they occur (e.g. a spilled beverage on the living room rug) by making it harder for them to be absorbed into the rug fibers. This treatment typically lasts about 3 cleaning cycles before needing to be reapplied.

We offer some of the highest quality pads on the market in 2 different styles. Our more popular option is thinner, while the other is thicker and provides an extra layer of cushioning. Both are durable and ensure much-needed, reliable traction on hard floors.

We offer stair runner installations, specializing in working with handmade wool rugs; but we can also install machine-made and synthetic pieces if desired. You will be responsible for sourcing the piece(s) you wish to use.

We offer hand or machine binding, and can adjust the shape or size of any rug for you (e.g. converting a 9’ x 12’ square rug into both a 9’ x 9’ round and a 3’ x 9’ rectangular rug).

By popular demand, we also offer carpet and upholstery cleaning. We offer commercial-grade carpet cleaning chemicals, as well as gentler detergents and even unscented options, depending on your specific needs and preferences
